In all kinds of business, you need to maintain contact with customers, whether be it product update of feedback survey or conducting promotional campaign, you need to contact your clients.

Doing MLM/ Network Marketing online lack the human touch that offline marketing have. But it is possible to make up for that flaw.

Doing MLM/ Network Marketing online, the first most important thing is collecting leads, most often through a opt-in form or squeeze page. These leads are targeted leads, which mean that they are people who are interested in your company or product.

These are your potential cash cows. You need to follow up with them, update them regularly, forming a relationship. The purpose of doing this is to increase their awareness of your company or product. Imagine, today if you keep seeing the advertisement of, say, MacDonald's, the next time you make a decision on where to eat, you will probably be thinking of MacDonald's. You need to get them to see your advertisements. The easiest way is to send them emails.

In order to maximize the results of your Email Marketing Campaign, you need to do more than just sending them information. There are more things to take note when you start your Email Marketing Campaign.

Email Pro

Take note of some points in order to make your emails professional.

- Source

People will see who sent them the email before opening them. This makes your email address very important. To look more professional, please refrain from using free email accounts like @gmail, @yahoo or @hotmail. Use something that your customer recognizes, such as your name or company name. e.g. support @yourcompanyname.com. Most hosting package gives you a number of emails account you can create under your own domain name.

The next factor to take note is your subject line. Keep it clear, concise, and under 50 words. You can try to create interest in readers in your subject line.

- Body

In the Main body in your email, quickly identify yourself, and proceed to the main purpose of the email. If someone referred them to you, state the source of referral. Limit the use of fanciful pictures, make your email look professional, unless you have a special style you portray in your website, keep it professional.

Increase The Effectiveness of Your Email

An effective email is more likely to increase traffic to your website. It also increases the returns on effort (that is for scripting the email). Here is 6 golden rules to make your email more effective;

- Focus on Branding

You need to brand yourself or the company in order to make people remember you. Good examples of branding are; The Rich Jerk, Success University, and many more. Stick with the brand image you created, and use it consistently in every email you send out. Put your Brand in the subject line, so people can recognize you instantly.

- Honesty

Be honest in your subject line. Don't trick them to opening the email with misleading or false information. Be cautioned that it is a requirement to state accurate subject line.

- Instill Urgency

Use time sensitive words or phrases to create a sense of urgency in readers. Use words like, For Limited Time Only, Buy Now, and Whilst Stock Last.

- Entice them

To further entice them to read our email, you can also give them some benefite to do so. Everybody likes free stuffs. Include a gift in your subject line to entice them to open the email. Some examples are; Get your free E-Book, Redeem your free trial, etc...

- Keep to the limit

In your text, avoid using too many bold, capital letters, bright colors, and punctuation (referring to ! ). For the simplest reason, it makes your text very confusing and distracting. It also triggers spiders and filter to classify it as SPAM.

- K.I.S.S Keep It Short and Sweet.

Personally I limit my emails to the main points of my purpose. Of course you should practice your own discretion as to the audience and purpose of the email.

*P.S Take note that it is a mandatory requirement to include an "unsubscribe tab" in your emails.
