Packing is critical. It does more than merely protect your items; it affects your profits. Buy the best quality materials you can buy, but purchase wisely. Improve your packing techniques to save materials as well as to guard against shipping damage. You'll lower expenses, maybe even make a small profit on handling charges, and still have satisfied customers.

Another thing that can cause harm to your business deal is when the item doesnt reach the buyer in one piece. Be careful about shipping it safely even if this process consumes more time and effort.

Again the emphasis is on the problems of shipping the items. It would be worthwhile to work out on a piece of paper and draw a complete plan to avoid any mistake in shipping.

It is quite natural that shipping must proceed immediately after the charges have been paid by the customer. At least the shipping must be done one day after the payments have been made. Delays of any kind must immediately be informed to the customer through email.

The purchaser isn't the only one who expects speedy shipment. The Federal Trade Commission stipulates a 30-day mail order rule.

All internet and mail order sales are subject to the rule. Purchased items must be shipped within a 30 day period, unless you specify an exact shipment date.

Insurance is another matter to consider if you're consistently shipping lots of packages. Will you make insurance against loss or damage available to your buyers?
