Obviously you know about PPC, which stands for pay per click in which you pay a company when someone clicks on your link in the ad space. This is a risky explanation point you to easily lose a lot of money and never make a sale to earn it back. Other tactic people often fail with because it never works, is buying traffic from other websites. You pay something like $30 and get 10,000 people to come right. Someone's bound by right? Well they won't. Most of those sites askance anyways and never pay out because no one ever buys. Surely there is another way to make money online and avoid PPC all together? Well the answer to that question is thankfully yes. Its called article marketing, and it is the lowest cost way to get lots of traffic to your website. It is much more time consuming than PPC, but in the long run you will be very happy you did it. You have total control over all information that you present to the reader, and you aren't forced to convey your entire message into a small text box of only 100 characters. Article marketing is simple. All you have to do, is write a short essay that relates to whatever your trying to sell. There are always different angles to be taken, so think outside of the box when your writing. The articles should be around four or five hundred words long, and should be interesting and well written. Remember, it is your goal to inform and help a reader make a difficult decision. Now how to get those articles seen by people? Its not hard, in fact its very simple. You just submit your articles to free article directories around the internet and that's all there is to it. There are literally thousands of them out there, and its so simple to submit to them. Don't lose sight of the fact that on average, for every good article you write, you should make about $20 dollars worth of sales. Now this is an average, but if you wrote 2 articles per day, every day for one month, then you would probably be averaging about that much in sales. Article marketing may not be easy but it sure is worth it. People notice when you take the time to work hard at something, and they will respect you more for it. They will be more willing to listen to what you write on your landing page than if you were using PPC. Keep that it mind as you are toiling away on your articles, because someday they will pay off.
